Fall 2026 anime preview: 15 series and films to watch

Mochibayo ·

The Fall 2026 anime season begins in the first days of October, and it is a crowded one. Maomao returns in The Apothecary Diaries, Blue Box and Aoashi come back for second seasons, TRIGGER goes back to Night City with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, and several anime films open in Japanese cinemas before the end of the year.

Below are fifteen titles we think are worth your time, in three groups: returning favourites, new stories and films. Dates are the Japanese premiere dates as AniList lists them. For airing times in your own time zone, live countdowns and a calendar you can subscribe to, use the Fall 2026 schedule. Each title’s page also shows where it streams legally in Bulgaria.
